“When I left CU in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Political Science, I knew that I forever wanted to be connected to the incredibly special environment that CU fosters. I’ve had the good fortune to do some pretty amazing things over the past few years -- from a fellowship to work with President Clinton on his international philanthropy, to directing political campaigns, to a position as Director with Democracy for America. But I wouldn't be doing any of these things without CU, and specifically INVST Community Studies. Classes like 'Nonviolent Social Movements' and 'Facilitating Peaceful Community Change' were among the highlights of my collegiate career. That is why I am thrilled and immensely proud to be a sustaining donor to INVST -- and I hope that other students will have the opportunity to experience this truly unique program far into the future.”
